Sri Lanka was examined by the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) - which is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women - at its 48th session, 17 January - 4 February 2011 in Geneva.
Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
Sri Lanka was examined by the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (CESCR) - which is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. This is in preparation for a full examination to be conducted by the CESCR - at its 45th session, in 1-19 November 2010 in Geneva.
