Committee Against Torture

Honduras was examined by the UN Committee Against Torture (CAT) - which is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment - at its 42nd session, 6-7 May 2009.


Special Procedures

The UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights defenders, Mrs. Margaret Sekaggya, will visit Honduras from 27 September to 4 October 2011.
