Brazil was examined by the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) - which is responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women - at its 51st session, 13 February - 2 March 2012, in New York.

Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
